Transportation and shipping practices
- Cocoa beans should be stored separately in one location of the cargo vessel and should never be stored with high risk fire materials, hazardous or poisonous chemicals.
- Containers for cocoa shipping should be clean and free from residue of any previous cargo.
- Storage containers should not have been used to carry chemicals or other materials giving off strong odors.
