International Cocoa Genebank, Trinidad - Populations

The ICG,T consists of accession groups loosely described as populations. An accession group is a group of cocoa trees with a shared origin. The name given to accession groups can be based upon the area collected, the farm or the geographic region, but can also be based on the collector's name or related to the project e.g. LCT EEN accessions were named after the London Cocoa Trade project.
