Overview
Technical Assistant (since 1991) with responsibility to assist the CRC Plant Pathologist with his research. Activities involve the preparation of materials (following established protocols) and assisting with planned experiments for disease evaluations. Also involves some administrative duties with regard to lab management,
inventory and supplies and supervision of interns.

Areas of expertise, interest/specialties
Specialties include disease evaluation using the detached pod test, project reporting/editing reports.
Recent work includes participation in the ongoing joint collaborative project with the Ministry of Food Production (formerly the Ministry of Food Production, Land and Marine Resources), of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

2013 - RDI project

2011 - Project to improve resistance to Black Pod disease in the TSH clones.
1998-2003 and 2004-2009 - CFC projects to generate enhanced germplasm
with resistance to Black Pod disease.
